Mari Walker

Mari Walker (she/her) is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has been accepted into over 250 film festivals including Sundance, SXSW, Frameline, and Outfest, garnering a total of 76 awards & 52 nominations. Mari’s work consistently explores identity through multiple forms and genres, championing the shared humanity of others through narratives that promote empathy and understanding.

Her film The Soul of a Tree won Best Short Documentary at the Kerry Film Festival in 2016. Swim, her first narrative short, won the Audience Award at the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival.

Kristen Uno

producer/co-writer

Kristen Uno (she/her) is a film producer and writer who has spent her career working on projects that elevate traditionally marginalized voices. Recently, she premiered the feature film We the Coyotes/Anywhere with You at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival L’ACID section. After an 9-week theatrical run in France, the film was digitally released by The Orchard in Canada and the United States. Kristen has also produced award-winning short films, online narrative content, and music videos.

Mia Schulman

Mia Schulman's (she/her) goal is to develop and produce intersectional and empowering content for women and the queer community. She recently produced the short film How Does it Start? which had its world premiere at Sundance 2019. It has since been selected to play in 20 additional film festivals across the nation. Mia's work spans from features to shorts, narrative to unscripted, in many different creative and logistical roles.

Matt Miller

Executive Producer

Matt Miller (he/him) has worked on over 100 film and television productions on both the studio and independent levels in addition to over 75 commercials and music videos. In 2010, Matt co-founded Vanishing Angle, which has created countless award-winning feature films, series, and shorts. Thunder Road won the SXSW Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature in 2018 and two of their films were nominated for the 2019 Independent Spirit Awards.
